Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

November 18^th-20^th

Let’s help others have a plentiful Thanksgiving!   Deerfield School will be collecting non-perishable food for our community outreach partner, the Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges, in conjunction with the town-wide Thanksgiving Food Drive. 

We kindly request that you donate 3-4 items of your choice from your grade’s assigned food list (you are always welcome to donate more!):

K & 1^st      Canned Fruit, Canned Cranberry Sauce, Healthy Soup with Protein, and/or Boxed Dessert Mix (no Jell-O)

2^nd & 3^rd    Canned Corn, Cornbread Mix, Canned Gravy, Stuffing Mix, and/or Healthy Soup with Protein

4^th              Canned Green Beans, Instant Potatoes, Canned Yams, Tuna, and/or Mac & Cheese

* Please no glass containers or expired items*

Community Outreach is also requesting a donation of at least $5

to provide families with ShopRite gift cards to purchase a turkey, fresh produce, and other fresh items for Thanksgiving.  CASH donations may be sent in your child’s backpack in an envelope marked Thanksgiving Food Drive by November 20^th.
